Today’s your birthday, so we found you the first daffodils of spring:

Miniature Daffodils bloom early on the south side of a home in the Oak Park Arts District.

Five inch tall Miniature Daffodils bloom early on the south side of a home in the Oak Park Arts District.

We’ll show you the real thing later this afternoon. We hope you enjoy your spring vacation and our weekend trip to Circle Pines.

And thanks for supporting our birding and our blogging!

Love,

Eric, Ethan, and Aaron

(We’ll have more to say in private….)

I love Facebook – it allowed me to get back in touch with all sorts of great folks… 😀

  2. Happy Birthday, Gail! I hope that you will have a really
    good party!

From almost snowfree Edsberg in the Stockholm area.
But there are still patches of ice outside our southerly
windows, and a brisk wind is chilling your face when
you go outside to get som necessary exercise.
BTW, I have notice that the leaves of the rhododendrons
beneath our balcony are actually some sort of a thermo-
meter. When it is a couple of degrees below the freezing point of water, they are pointing straight to the ground. But as
the temperature rises so do the leaves!

Three cheers for you from Edsberg, Sollentuna , Sweden!
