2008 YEAR LIST FOR OUR BLOCK IN SOUTH OAK PARK

This is a list of all the bird species we saw on our block from January through December, 2008.

Some bird species are seen here year round, like Cardinals, Downy Woodpeckers, and American Goldfinches. Some species come for the summer, like House Wrens and Gray Catbirds. A few species come to spend the winter, like Sharp-shinned Hawk and Dark-eyed Juncos. But most of the species on this list migrate through in spring or fall.

Total number of species we saw on our block during 2008: 78
